This UNLV Rebel thrives on restaurant efficiency and sets the bar high for excellence! Aja has been immersed in the hospitality industry for 26 years, with experience spanning from casual dining to fine dining and everything in between. She’s been instrumental in opening restaurants across 14 states, with a focus on Las Vegas, NV, and Los Angeles, CA.

Aja has held prestigious roles such as General Manager and Food Service Director at renowned organizations including Aramark, Compass, Bellagio Resort & Casino, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, USC Hospitality, Wolfgang Puck, and The Conga Room at L.A. Live.

When she’s not perfecting restaurants or teaching classes, you’ll find her playing Spades, hanging out with her spirited 16-year-old daughter or her charismatic partner, Chef Tasha.

Aja and Ava love catching the latest Marvel film, exploring new destinations, and diving into creative adventures together.

Aja and Tasha are avid live music lovers, travelers and enjoy seeking out new food experiences.

Her gentle demeanor perfectly complements our team’s dynamic.

Ms. Luz is a passionate animal lover who currently has 3 cats at home to cozy up to; Rocky, Mouse and Summer.  When she’s not enjoying her pets, she loves to garden, watch movies and spend time with her granddaughter thrifting.
